Job Description:

This contract position places you in a dedicated Oncology Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit, where you'll focus on caring for patients undergoing chemotherapy and hematology treatments. You'll be expected to float across various units, including high-risk respiratory and COVID support areas, applying your expertise in managing complex care needs. The role involves a mix of blood product administration, drip management, wound care, and chemotherapy, with a schedule of 12-hour day shifts. Sickle cell experience and chemo certification are preferred, adding a layer of specialized knowledge to your skill set. If you’re comfortable interpreting EKG strips, have prior travel experience, and can handle the dynamic nature of hospital float roles, this assignment offers a true challenge wrapped in a professional environment that appreciates flexible, skilled nurses looking to make an impact.
