Job Description:

Join a specialized 24-bed cardiac unit in Quincy, Illinois, for a 13-week travel assignment providing night-shift coverage. As a cardiovascular-focused healthcare professional, you'll manage patients in need of monitoring for dysrhythmias, sepsis, and high flow oxygen therapy. Your role involves working with a nurse educator to coordinate care, administering various medication drips including dopamine, levophed, and heparin, and handling behavior patients requiring IV medications. The unit's quick pace demands attention to detail and adaptability, with potential work every other weekend. This position offers a chance to develop skills in a fast-moving, high-throughput setting while experiencing the rhythms of a vibrant city.
