Job Description:

This progressive care unit RN position offers an engaging opportunity to care for patients who are hemodynamically stable or briefly unstable, requiring advanced monitoring and interventions. The role involves managing patients with complex medical and surgical needs, including post-op surgical recovery, cardiac procedures, and patients on ventilatory support with CPAP or BiPAP. You will operate sophisticated medical equipment, manage invasive lines, central venous catheters, chest tubes, and ventilator support, providing physical, emotional, and cultural support to help patients transition from acute to stable conditions. The assignment provides a chance to deepen your skills in cardiac telemetry, post-cardiac catheterization, and vascular surgery recovery. Expect to collaborate across disciplines, lead by example, and help guide less experienced staff, all while delivering patient-centered care from admission through discharge while respecting the hospital's standards.
