Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a PCU Registered Nurse in the Kansas City area, working 12-hour day shifts for an engaging 13-week contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5, with occasional flexibility to 1:6, providing bedside care to patients with diverse medical diagnoses including pulmonary, cardiac, neuro, and renal conditions. The position involves interpreting telemetry, managing IV therapies, and handling emergency response protocols, all within a Level 1 Trauma and Magnet-recognized teaching hospital. Expect to float within scope across departments as needed, and ensure compliance with certifications like BLS and NIHSS. This assignment offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity setting where your clinical expertise makes a real impact.
