Job Description:

This travel nursing position in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers an engaging opportunity for registered nurses with at least 2 years of acute care experience, including first-time travelers with the required background. You will work in a 12-bed unit specializing in a mix of stepdown and med-surg patient care, handling conditions such as CVA/TIA, spinal surgeries, and cardiac issues, with patient ratios of 1:3 for RNs. The role involves managing telemetry monitors, administering titratable drips like Cardene and Insulin, and passing an EKG competency exam before starting. Scheduled shifts are 12 hours long, with a rotation that includes weekend work, and the assignment lasts for 13 weeks.
