Job Description:

Join a busy PACU team at a prestigious Level I Trauma Center where you'll focus on postoperative recovery for a diverse surgical patient population. This role involves managing adults, with occasional adolescents and geriatrics, recovering from procedures such as neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, and more. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling patients with invasive monitoring, artificial airways, transfusions, and vasoactive medications. Your responsibilities include closely monitoring patients, recognizing dysrhythmias, managing blood products, starting IVs, and supporting ventilated patients, with the opportunity to learn preoperative assessments for occasional night shifts. Expect to be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes safety and efficient recovery processes, all while working in a facility with a dedicated transport team and state-of-the-art equipment. This 13-week assignment features consistent 10-hour day shifts, with a weekly gross pay averaging around $2,079.
