Job Description:

Join our team as a PreOp Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Stage 2 recovery at Salem Health. This role offers a steady routine of four 10-hour shifts, with no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties. You will be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, monitoring them through recovery, and ensuring safety during the immediate post-operative phase. The position involves working in various surgical settings, from Pre-Surgical Screening to PACU, with a focus on delivering compassionate, quality care in a fast-paced environment. Expect to start your day between 5:30 and 9:00 AM, with shifts running from 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Your expertise in PACU or recovery will be helpful, and certification requirements include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with some certifications needed within six months of hire.
