Job Description:

Work as a PACU Registered Nurse providing pre-op and recovery support across Phase I and Phase II settings for pediatric and adult surgical populations. This travel contract offers a hands-on PACU experience tied to a wide range of major surgical services and includes exposure to regional anesthesia cases, as well as care for patients moving through a busy, multi-OR pre/post workflow spanning two floors and multiple procedure areas.

Shifts are 8-hour days (07:00 - 15:30), with an expectation of floating to pediatric PACU as needed. The assignment is supported by a structured weekend schedule (2–3 scheduled weekends per contract) and requires comfort caring for patients of all ages in both pre-op and recovery phases.

Please note: after starting the role, your unit manager may assign you to an “Emergency Team,” which can require staying at the facility until after an event passes or participating as part of a relief team. Details about impacts to pay will be provided with each emergency event.
