Job Description:

Join a bustling Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Aspirus Wausau Hospital for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll be working in a 14-bay recovery area with a patient ratio of 1:2, managing post-surgical patients across general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, PV, and ortho cases. Expect to stabilize ICU patients prior to transfer and handle a variety of recovery scenarios, including cardiac and pediatric cases. This role features 10-hour shifts, with some scheduled start times at 0730, 0800, or 0900, and on-call responsibilities that include one night per week for four weeks and every fifth weekend, with a 30-minute response time. charting experience in Epic or other electronic systems is preferred. This assignment offers an engaging pace for experienced PACU RNs comfortable with diverse cases and quick decision-making.
