Job Description:

This RN position in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit (PCU) offers a chance to be at the heart of a busy teaching hospital with a family-oriented atmosphere. You will manage patients with acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, arrhythmias, and vascular diagnoses, working 12-hour day shifts for a total of 36 hours per week over a 13-week contract. Your responsibilities will include interpreting cardiac rhythms, titrating various IV medications, and collaborating with an experienced support team including CNAs, technologists, and hospitalists. The unit emphasizes teamwork, quick patient assessments, and a focus on cardiac recovery.
