Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, Illinois, providing vital support on a MedSurg Acute Care unit. This role involves working 12-hour day shifts in a busy hospital setting with a mix of private and semi-private rooms. You'll be managing a patient load with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 4-5:1 during the day, including responsibilities such as titrating Heparin drips and troubleshooting oxygen therapy equipment. The unit features multi-disciplinary support including a 24/7 in-house hospitalist team, RF equipment, telemetry monitoring, and dedicated PCT staff. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your acute care skills and experience the vibrant community of Peoria, known for its welcoming atmosphere and rich local history.
