Job Description:

This 15-week contract offers registered nurses the chance to immerse themselves in a busy acute care setting in Peoria, Illinois, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be caring for a diverse range of medical patients, from those with sepsis and CHF to elderly individuals recovering from falls or surgeries. The unit features a mixture of private and semi-private rooms with patient loads typically ranging from 22 to 26. Expect to titrate heparin drips and monitor patients remotely via Phillips telemetry, all while enjoying the stability of a well-supported team with charge nurses, crisis RNs, and PCT coverage around the clock. Whether you're new to the unit or an experienced traveler, you'll receive two shifts of orientation to help you settle in and thrive.
