Job Description:

This step-down registered nurse position is located in a 34-bed PCU/stepdown unit. The role involves providing specialized care within a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges. You'll work in a 12-hour rotating night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), caring for patients in a unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio. Experience with Meditech EMR, AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications are required, along with a Kentucky or compact license. Familiarity with float requirements and working every other weekend is essential, and you must reside at least 75 miles from the facility. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in a specialized setting, collaborating with a dedicated team focused on patient stabilization and recovery.
