Job Description:

Join our team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in Portland, Oregon, and experience the challenge of caring for higher-acuity patients in a level 3 trauma center. This 13-week contract offers 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), with the flexibility of floating between units such as IMCU, Step Down, and other designated areas based on skill set. You'll manage complex cardiac, respiratory, ventilator-dependent, and trach patients, often working in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail and adaptability. Expect to collaborate with a skilled team in a short-term acute care setting, using Epic charting, and supporting a facility committed to delivering quality care without the distraction of parking fees. This assignment is ideal for nurses with experience in critical and intermediate care who are comfortable floating across units and facilities, including some external facilities in the Portland area. A vehicle is required for this role, and travelers should be prepared for possible incentive pay when floating to Seaside facilities.
