Job Description:

Join a specialized cardiac telemetry unit as a registered nurse, where you will manage adult and pediatric surgical and vascular patients requiring close cardiac monitoring. This 15-bed unit focuses on intermediate care for patients transferring from ICU, including those with invasive lines, transvenous pacemakers, chest tubes, and those needing respiratory ventilation management. Your role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, administering critical medications, and supporting patients post-TAVR, CEA, or femoral bypass procedures. Work 12-hour night shifts for 13 weeks, covering every other weekend, with a focus on ensuring smooth patient transitions and interventions in a fast-paced environment. The assignment offers the chance to gain experience in a post-cardiac procedure setting with high-tech invasive monitoring and a designated post-TAVR patient population.
