Job Description:

Embark on a 13-week travel nursing assignment working night shifts in a mental health unit. This role is specifically tailored for registered nurses with at least one year of psychiatric experience, with additional MedSurg or acute care background preferred. During this assignment, you'll perform comprehensive psych assessments, apply de-escalation techniques, and assist with physical restraints when necessary. The position offers an engaging opportunity to work with diverse patient populations, including those experiencing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and dementia with behaviors. The hospital appreciates your flexibility to float to MedSurg units or serve as a sitter, ensuring comprehensive support across departments. No on-call requirements, and you can wear any solid color scrub.
