Job Description:

This orthopedic registered nurse assignment places you in a hospital setting specializing in pre-op and post-op orthopedic surgeries, including total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as trauma cases. The shift is 12-hour overnight nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working every other weekend. You'll be responsible for assisting with patient preparations, monitoring post-surgical recovery, and managing orthopedic equipment like CPM machines and bone foam. This role emphasizes independent judgment and hands-on management of orthopedic patients, with a focus on safe patient handling and collaboration with rapid response teams. Your experience with EPIC documentation and a minimum of two years in a similar setting are required. No call is involved, and the schedule includes holiday work during the holiday period. This is a great opportunity for experienced orthopedic RNs seeking a fulfilling travel assignment in a busy hospital environment.
