Job Description:

This travel nursing assignment places you at a 36-bed facility in Roanoke Rapids, NC, where you will work 12-hour day shifts for a duration of 13 weeks. You’ll be assisting with a variety of general MedSurg cases, including patients with COPD exacerbation, sepsis, renal failure, stroke, and post-operative care, among others. The role emphasizes bedside procedures such as IV insertions, chest tube management, wound vac care, and central line care, offering hands-on experience in a busy, fast-paced environment. The team operates using EPIC electronic charting, and the unit promotes a teamwork-oriented approach with a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:6. This assignment is ideal for nurses with recent travel experience, a valid NC or Compact license, and familiarity with bedside procedures and multiple diagnoses.
