Job Description:

Join the team in a fast-paced Emergency Observation unit located in the heart of Rochester. You'll work in a 13-bed unit dedicated to providing 24-hour observation care, including assisting with emergency department boarder patients awaiting admission. This assignment offers the unique opportunity to navigate the busy hospital environment during your 12-hour night shifts, from 7 PM to 7 AM. Expect to handle a lively mix of cases, coordinate patient monitoring, and support the flow of emergency care, all while experiencing the energy of a critical care setting. The schedule includes one weekend shift per week or two every other weekend, with a requirement to work at least one holiday during the contract. Candidates should be adaptable and organized, ready for a rotating or fixed schedule, and possess recent experience in emergency or observation nursing. You will use EPIC charting while engaging in meaningful work that makes a real difference in acute care.
