Job Description:

This 14-week travel contract offers experienced PAT RNs the opportunity to work night shifts in a high-acuity Surgical Day Unit (SDU) setting. You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments across all age groups, from Pediatric to Geriatric, and delivering skilled patient care tailored to surgical patients receiving anesthesia. The role emphasizes meticulous documentation, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting patient education pre- and post-operation. Expect to work closely with the perioperative team, managing procedures, monitoring patient reactions, and ensuring a safe environment through proper body mechanics and adherence to Universal Protocol. This assignment provides an engaging clinical challenge for RNs with ICU experience eager to contribute to a fast-paced surgical unit.
