Job Description:

This RN position in the OR at a bustling Level 1 trauma center offers a hands-on experience navigating complex cases in a fast-paced environment. You'll scrub in and circulate for a variety of surgeries including orthopedics, organ transplants, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and general surgery, often working overnight shifts during 12-hour nights. With an emphasis on trauma cases, neuro procedures, and pediatric surgeries, this assignment provides the chance to refine specialized skills while working with a seasoned team. Scrub and circulate experience, along with at least 2 years of trauma surgery background, are preferred. Travel experience is valuable, and prior assignments in similar settings will help you hit the ground running. Expect to handle 60-80 cases daily with the use of Epic EMR, while enjoying the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that demands expertise and adaptability. The role involves approximately 36 hours weekly over a 13-week period, with a focus on weekend and holiday coverage, including some urgent cases on Sundays.
