Job Description:

This travel healthcare contract offers an opportunity to work as a surgical nurse in a busy hospital setting with a 21 to 30-bed capacity. You will be responsible for providing patient care during the perioperative period, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring a smooth flow of procedures. The role involves a 12-hour night shift schedule, with shifts from 10:30 am to 11:00 pm, including call shifts scheduled every six weeks. The assignment stands out due to its dynamic operative environment and the chance to hone your surgical skills in an engaging, fast-paced atmosphere, without the requirement of transplants. Familiarity with EPIC charting and scrubs in any color or pattern are preferred. The weekly commitment is approximately 36 hours over 13 weeks, offering a fulfilling yet manageable schedule.
