Job Description:

Join us for a 13-week contract as a step down Registered Nurse with ICU experience in beautiful Beaufort, South Carolina. This role involves floating across stepdown, ICU, and medical-surgical units, providing specialized care to patients with complex needs such as those on non-titrating drips, post-cardiac cath interventions, and patients on ventilators. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, offering a balanced work rhythm with the opportunity to experience the region's charm. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5, administering medications like Amiodarone, Cardizem, Lopressor, and supporting wound care and dialysis procedures. Valid South Carolina licensure, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and a willingness to float across units are required to ensure flexible, patient-focused care. This assignment will challenge your skills while immersing you in a community that values vitality and resilience.
