Job Description:

Join a travel PACU Registered Nurse role with a mix of adult and pediatric recovery work across a busy surgical services footprint. In this position, you’ll support pre-op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery for patients undergoing major surgical services, including regional anesthesia cases. You may also be asked to float to pediatric PACU as needed, so comfort with caring for patients of all ages is essential.

This contract includes a structured day shift schedule (5 days at 8 hours) and weekend rotation of 2–3 scheduled weekends per contract. The assignment spans a multi-room OR environment across two floors—ranging from pediatric-focused cases to surgical/procedural services—so you’ll experience varied recovery workflows and patient populations while staying within the standard PACU/pre/post responsibilities.

You should also be prepared for possible assignment to an “Emergency Team,” with expectations to remain at the facility until after an event passes or to join a relief team. If an emergency event occurs, specific pay details will be provided at the time, and you will report as directed by your immediate unit manager.

Weather:

Expect warm, humid days with frequent sunshine and occasional passing showers. Evenings are often mild, making outdoor plans comfortable between weather swings.
