Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract in Red Bluff, California, offers a chance to work in a lively, fast-paced adult and pediatric Med/Surg telemetry unit. You'll be covering 12-hour night shifts, managing a diverse patient load that includes COPD, post-op, GI bleeds, OBGYN surgeries, ortho issues, and sepsis. The role demands 2-3 years of specialty experience, with pediatric skills preferred. Your expertise in titrating drips like heparin and protonix will be invaluable. Expect a team-oriented environment where leadership is shared, and quick patient turnover makes each shift engaging. Telemetry monitoring is essential, and you'll work with technology such as CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow devices. Your attention to safety and patient stability will help keep this unit running smoothly, all while enjoying the breathtaking surroundings of Northern California.
