Job Description:

Join a fast-paced cardiac observation unit where you'll be the key player in managing low acuity critical care patients awaiting transfer or discharge. This 13-week contract involves 12-hour night shifts, offering a unique opportunity to develop advanced cardiovascular assessment skills and critical thinking. You'll work with patients requiring arterial lines, PA catheters, and occasional LVAD support, but no ventilators or IABPs. The environment is dynamic, with a high volume of patient turnover, providing plenty of chances to refine your organization skills and experience a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diagnoses. CCRN preferred, with an emphasis on presurgical patient management, providing a perfect setting to elevate your critical care expertise while enjoying a lively and rewarding work atmosphere.
