Job Description:

This RN position in the Cardiac Stepdown unit at Mercy Hospital South offers an engaging opportunity to work with post-op CABG, valve, thoracotomy patients, and those experiencing respiratory failure or chest pain. The role involves providing direct patient care during 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on assessment, monitoring, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. You'll gain hands-on experience with advanced equipment like chest tubes, temporary pacemakers, and BiPAP machines.
