Job Description:

Join our team as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, multispecialty setting that sees approximately 160 patients daily. This 13-week contract offers the chance to work in a 50-bed ED, including hallway beds and seclusion rooms, where you'll stabilize a wide range of critical conditions such as strokes, multisystem trauma, sepsis, and respiratory failure. You will deliver care across all ages, from neonates to geriatrics, and handle complex medical and cardiac emergencies. The shift is a 12-hour night schedule, providing an opportunity to experience the hospital's nocturnal rhythm and a close-knit team environment where your expertise makes a real difference. Critical care skills like telemetry, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and management of drips and lines are essential. The role involves collaboration with multiple support staff, including pharmacy, RTs, and security, with a focus on managing high-acuity situations efficiently and effectively.
