Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you in a Level 2 Trauma Center within the busy emergency department at a teaching hospital in Middletown, NY. You'll work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, handling a diverse range of cases such as chest pain, stroke, trauma, sepsis, and mental health crises. The role demands swift assessment and coordination, with a focus on acute patient stabilization and multidisciplinary collaboration. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment with an all-star team including hospitalist or intensivist physicians, ED techs, and specialized nurses. Certification in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (preferred) is required, along with New York state licensure. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills at a top-tier facility known for its emergency medicine residency and comprehensive trauma services.
