Job Description:

Join a busy emergency department in Lufkin, Texas, as a travel healthcare professional. You'll work 12-hour mids for approximately 13 weeks, providing essential support during high-volume shifts that often see 80-90 patients daily. Responsibilities include managing trauma cases, stroke patients, pneumonia, CHF, and cardiac episodes, with separate triage areas and occasional involvement in patient assessment. This role requires at least 2 years of ER experience, with certifications like ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENTC. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with self-scheduling for days and nights, and every other weekend and holiday coverage. You'll be part of a team that handles diverse cases in a setting that keeps you engaged and challenged.
