Job Description:

This 13-week contract positions a registered nurse (RN) in a general medicine unit at Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL. You will work 12-hour night shifts, providing care to a unit with 24 beds and patient ratios of 1:6. Your responsibilities include managing acute care patients, operating Cerner EMR, and collaborating within interdisciplinary teams. The role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience, BLS, and NIHSS certifications. It’s a straightforward, fast-moving environment where your time management skills and adaptability will truly shine. Expect a supportive team that values professionalism and patient-centered care, all while working within a facility known for excellence in stroke and cardiovascular services. This assignment offers a chance to develop specialized skills in a community-focused setting with a stable weekly commitment of 36 hours.
