Job Description:

This travel RN opportunity in Med Surg offers a 13-week assignment with 12-hour day shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. You will be working on a unit that primarily handles pacemakers, monitoring, and potassium management, with occasional float to other Med Surg units within your scope. The role requires at least two years of experience and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Expect to manage a patient load with a ratio of 1:6, utilizing Meditech and McKesson systems. Although basic tele experience is a plus, it’s not mandatory, and ACLS and NIHSS can be obtained during the placement process if needed. The facility emphasizes the importance of reliable housing, so accommodations will be arranged prior to your start. You will contribute to a team that values expertise in pacemaker monitoring and general Med Surg care, with a focus on ensuring patient stability and comfort.
