Job Description:
This Travel Registered Nurse position focuses on Mother-Baby / Couplet Care and Postpartum care within a 27-bed LDRP unit. The role involves working with postpartum, newborn, and antepartum patients, with floating support to labor and delivery services, excluding triage and circulating. Expect to manage antepartum and postpartum cases, assist with newborn assessments, and contribute to the care of mothers and babies in a setting that blends the tranquility of suburban Maryland with the vibrancy of nearby cities. The shift is a 12-hour day, and the assignment lasts 13 weeks, offering a comprehensive experience in a specialized maternal health environment. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of three years' LDRP RN acute care experience, hold active fetal monitoring (C-EFM) certification, BLS, and a Maryland or compact license, along with recent travel experience.
