Job Description:

This 13-week contract in the Emergency Room at a busy trauma center in Grand Island offers an engaging opportunity for experienced RNs comfortable with night shifts. You'll work 12-hour nights within a well-equipped emergency department that handles an average of 50 patients daily, including a variety of critical cases such as strokes, trauma, and cardiac issues. Your role involves managing multiple patient rooms, triage, and ER holds, all while utilizing your pediatric readiness skills and certifications like ENPC, TNCC, and ACLS. Expect to collaborate with ED physicians, charge nurses, and a dedicated team of CNA techs, with responsibilities including EKGs, ABGs, and ventilator management. A unique aspect of this assignment is the fast-paced environment with constant patient flow, requiring quick thinking and adaptability. The facility provides comprehensive resources, including portable X-ray and CT close by, and a supportive team that values your expertise and initiative.
