Job Description:

Join a prominent Level I Trauma Center in New Haven as an ER Registered Nurse on a 13-week night shift contract. This role offers the chance to work at a busy, acute care hospital with a Level 1 trauma designation, where you'll cross-train and float across multiple campuses and observation units. You’ll be handling the fast-paced demands of emergency care, with an emphasis on trauma experience, especially suited for nurses with at least 1.5 years of hospital ER experience who are ready to step into a a high-stakes environment. The night shifts run 12 hours, and your workweek totals 36 hours, providing a balanced schedule focused on stabilization and acute intervention without patient care responsibilities in triage or behavioral health units. This assignment is ideal for experienced ER nurses seeking to expand their skill set within a supportive yet challenging environment.
