Job Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a neuro-medical surgical and trauma unit at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. This 13-week travel contract offers an engaging opportunity to work with higher acuity post-op spinal surgeries, level 2 trauma, stroke, DKA, renal failure, and general post-op patients. Expect to manage drain systems, perform keen neuro assessments, and think critically through complex cases. The shift is 12-hour days or nights, every other weekend, with a flexible block schedule that accommodates time off. The role involves floating within med-surg and telemetry units, handling diverse cases in a facility with 396 beds and a patient ratio of 5:1 or 6:1. Competitive hourly pay of $80/hr billed rate, with an estimated weekly gross of $1,740.65, offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-acuity setting.
