Job Description:

Join a dedicated team as a Step Down Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at a well-regarded medical facility in Middletown, Ohio. This 13-week contract offers a unique opportunity to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), providing hands-on support to patients transitioning from intensive care or preparing for discharge. While prior license in hand is not required to apply, it must be obtained before starting, and the role requires passing an online EKG tele-competency assessment. Expect to float as needed within the unit to support patient care, with consistent working hours every other weekend and holiday, all within a supportive environment that values your expertise and flexibility. The work involves monitoring patient status, managing acute events, and assisting the nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes, all while enjoying the rewarding experience of making a difference in patients' recovery journeys.
