This contract opportunity places you in the vibrant setting of Research Medical Center’s Case Management unit in Kansas City, Missouri. You will work 8-hour shifts on weekdays, with rotating weekends, helping coordinate discharge planning and ensuring smooth patient transitions. The role requires recent acute care experience, especially in discharge planning. You’ll be part of a dedicated team utilizing systems like Meditech, Midas, and Wellsky, and supporting a busy 590-bed hospital environment. This assignment offers a chance to fine-tune your skills in a hospital that values flexibility—floating to different units as needed—and professionalism in a business casual dress code. Expect to work approximately 40 hours per week over a 12-week period, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting that emphasizes collaboration and efficiency.
