Job Description:

This stepdown and medical-surgical float assignment in Morgantown offers an engaging opportunity for registered nurses who thrive on versatility and fast-paced care. You will work on a 29-bed unit that is currently under construction, with all beds equipped as stepdown units, opening fully in the first quarter of 2026. The role involves managing both stepdown and med-surg patients, handling common diagnoses such as cardiac, diabetic, and post-surgical cases, and titrating drips like heparin and insulin based on physician orders. The schedule features 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. Expect to be involved in complex patient management, utilizing EPIC experience to chart and communicate effectively. You may also float to other units as needed, supporting the hospital’s commitment to continuous patient care. This position provides a dynamic environment where your expertise makes a real difference in patient recovery and stabilization.
