Job Description:

Join our team for a 13-week contract as a respiratory therapist in Weirton, WV. You'll be working in inpatient units, the ER, rehab, and outpatient settings, managing patients of all ages—from neonates (excluding NICU) to adults—while assisting with intubations and handling respiratory equipment like Puritan Bennett 840 Ventilators and BiPAP V60 machines. Your shifts will be 12 hours during nights, with rotations every four weeks, including every other weekend and holiday coverage. This role offers hands-on responsibilities such as performing ABGs, capillary sticks, breathing treatments, and managing respiratory equipment, all in a setting where the hospitalist or intensivist is available around the clock. The hospital maintains a supervisor or director oversight during weekday shifts, ensuring a structured environment. Prior experience of 3-4 years is preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome to apply. All submissions must include a valid driver’s license due to the 50-mile radius rule.
