Job Description:

Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse in a bustling hospital unit that manages burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries. You'll work in a 22-bed unit with an average daily census of 20 patients, providing specialized care for adult and geriatric populations. The rhythm is a 12-hour rotating shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other or third weekend. Floating within the Wexner Medical Center allows for varied experiences, and you'll utilize EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication systems. This assignment offers a blend of hands-on patient management and teamwork in a teaching hospital environment. Prepare to engage in procedures like burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy, making this role uniquely challenging and rewarding.
