Job Description:

Join our team as an ICU RN for a swing shift assignment in Kearney, Nebraska. This 18-week contract offers a chance to work in a 33-bed ICU unit with an average daily census of 16 patients, including trauma, cardiac, overdose, sepsis, and vascular cases. You will be responsible for monitoring ventilated patients, interpreting strips on GE monitors, and titrating relevant drips such as cardiac, insulin, and sedation. The role involves providing bedside care, assisting with patient assessments, and collaborating with healthcare support techs and nurse aides to ensure quality patient outcomes. Expect to work 12-hour day shifts, with every other weekend off, and the flexibility of self-scheduling for core staff. This assignment provides a dynamic atmosphere where your skills directly impact patient recovery and comfort, all within a supportive team environment.
