Job Description:

This MICU Registered Nurse role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a Level Trauma teaching hospital with 521 beds, primarily focusing on critically ill patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit. The position involves 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM over a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of MICU experience, with a preference for 2 years, and must possess AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is essential, as well as flexibility to float within the scope across three nearby hospitals—Martin North, South, and Tradition. This role emphasizes immediate productivity, so prior experience with EPIC modules is highly valued. Prepare to navigate a fast-paced environment where teamwork and technical proficiency are key.
