Job Description:

This Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role is based in a busy acute care hospital where you'll rotate between inpatient rehab and acute care units. Your primary focus will be on evaluating and treating patients with dysphagia and swallowing impairments, using bedside swallow examinations to determine if further assessment is needed. The job offers a mix of hands-on therapy and assessment, with most days spent on the floor conducting bedside evaluations. This assignment is perfect for an SLP who enjoys diverse patient cases and applying their bedside skills in a fast-paced environment. The role includes working five 8-hour shifts with weekend coverage every fifth weekend. Flexibility within scope and ability to work across different units will be important, and experience with video fluoroscopy swallow evaluations is a plus, although not required. This opportunity provides a chance to make a difference in a leading rehabilitation and acute care setting.

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 5 days per week
Duration: 13 weeks
