Job Description:

Join a specialized Labor & Delivery unit for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Cruz, CA. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing critical support during some of the most crucial moments in childbirth. You'll assist with high-risk deliveries, monitor fetal health via central fetal heart monitors, and collaborate with a team of OB techs and lactation consultants in a baby-friendly environment. Experience the unique rhythm of night shift hours while contributing to a level 3 NICU setting that handles approximately 65-75 deliveries each month. While there’s no direct patient care involved, your expertise will ensure smooth procedures and support for the medical team in a well-equipped, locked unit. Certification requirements include BLS, NRP, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring. Prior scrub experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
