Job Description:

Join a prominent radiology department in Peoria, Illinois, as a CT Tech on a 20-week travel contract. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, high-volume imaging environment utilizing GE CT scanners in a 640-bed hospital. Your responsibilities will include performing basic CT scans, starting IVs, and managing high-acuity patients, especially in Level 1 trauma settings. The shift options include 12-hour nights starting at 7pm or 12-hour days beginning at 7am, with weekend rotations every third week. Travel experiences often involve the thrill of adapting quickly and expanding technical skills while enjoying the unique charm of the city between shifts. Practical orientation lasts approximately one week, and active Illinois licensure with ARRT and IEMA certifications are required.
