Job Description:

Join a dedicated team of Labor and Delivery nurses in Fort Wayne, Indiana, providing expert circulating care during vaginal and cesarean deliveries. This role involves working at both PRMC and Parkview Randallia, with shifts scheduled for 12-hour nights. You will be responsible for hands-on patient care, utilizing EPIC Stork, Centricity fetal monitoring, and Pyxis medication systems. Expect to manage laboring patients, monitor couplets, and assist with procedures in a setting where the focus is on safe, attentive delivery support. With typically a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, this assignment offers a mix of routine and high-acuity cases, and the ability to work alongside an experienced team of L&D RNs. The role is designed for nurses with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience, specifically circulating C-sections, and relevant certifications such as NRP, BLS, and ACLS. No call is required, and weekends are scheduled on a 3 out of 4 basis. The work environment involves floating between two nearby locations, ensuring varied daily experiences while maintaining a steady routine.
