Job Description:

This labor and delivery assignment places you in the West 3 unit, a dedicated space for maternal and newborn care. You will work 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, providing vital support during some of the most critical moments for mothers and babies. The role involves working approximately 36 hours per week over a span of 13 weeks, with opportunities to extend. Expect to be involved in monitoring fetal heart patterns, assisting with labor progression, and collaborating with a team that values adaptability—since floating to other units like mother/baby and NBN may be required. This position calls for at least two years of recent labor and delivery experience and current active licensure in New York, along with certifications such as AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and C-efm fetal monitoring. Flexibility and a willingness to work at least one holiday per contract are essential.
