Job Description:

Join a specialized Occupational Therapy contract focused on supporting residents within a transitional care environment. In this role, you will conduct evaluations, develop discharge plans, and assist patients—primarily geriatrics with conditions like orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary diagnoses. You’ll work closely with a team of experienced therapists and support staff, providing care during 8-hour shifts. The assignment offers a chance to apply and hone your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, with opportunities to float to adjacent units if needed. This position is ideal for therapists with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a passion for patient-centered care, especially those familiar with EMRs like Therapute and Meditech. Expect a focus on efficient treatment planning, discharge readiness, and teamwork to help residents regain independence.

Shift: 8-hour days, roughly 0800-1630, flexible to support patient care

Weekly Hours: 40 hours (includes some weekend work, with flexible scheduling)
Hourly Rate: $2,384.60 gross per week
