Job Description:

Join our team as a registered nurse in a multi-care ICU/PCU unit located in Prescott Valley, AZ. This 13-week contract offers a balanced mix of ICU and PCU experience within a single, specialized unit where you'll manage patients with conditions like sepsis, respiratory failure, post-op complications, and more. Expect to navigate patient care that requires titrating drips such as vasopressors and insulin, reading 12-lead EKGs, and utilizing advanced equipment like vents, BiPaps, and monitors. The shift consists of 12-hour night rotations, with every other weekend and holiday duties. This role is ideal for nurses with at least two years of ICU experience or a combination of ICU and PCU. You'll support a team including charge RNs, nurse aides, remote monitor techs, and respiratory therapists, working in a unit with dedicated bed ratios based on acuity. The position offers an engaging environment where you can utilize your critical skills and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, all while enjoying the unique setting of Prescott Valley.
